In all probability, the legend that witches built this bridge in just one night is false. Most likely, the place name the Puente de las Brujas (The Witches Bridge) may not even be the original one and it would be more correct to call it Unanibia Bridge ('sand ford' bridge).
In any case, there is no doubt that this bridge, more relaxing than sinister, over the Leitzaran River is a spot filled with charm. Surrounded by the Otieta Park, this bridge invites us to change the rhythm before getting deeper into the tunnels of the Plazaola's green route.
