- The Castle of Javier (www.turismo.navarra.es ľsection on Javier), in the heart of Navarre, is a 10th century fortress with crenellated towers, dungeons, and loopholes. This is the birthplace of San Francisco Javier, co-founder of the Society of Jesus, together with St Ignatius Loyola.
- The Natural Park of the Se˝orio de Bertiz (www.parquedebertiz.es) is, as the Irati Forest, a magnificent natural space. More than 2,000 hectares include a botanical garden. It is located in the Bidasoa-Baztßn area, easy to access from Irun.
- The Oteiza Museum (www.museooteiza.org), in the small village of Alzuza (9 kilometres from Pamplona), offers a wide view of the work by Jorge Oteiza, the artist of genius from Gipuzkoa.
