The aim of this book is to provide the user with the contents of a historic piece of research that is essential for explaining the process of the historical creation of the Province of Gipuzkoa, the key period of which was between the 13th and 16th centuries. This process is analysed through one of the constituent subjects of the Province, the council of Mondragón, and the Bañez House.
